Looking for something local to entertain the family on the June Bank Holiday weekend? Come to the annual Wicklow Parish Fete this Saturday, June 1st 11am to 4pm at East Glendalough School in Wicklow town. The day is going to be jam-packed with fantastic activities for all ages! These include bouncy castles, face painting, numerous game stalls and Fire Brigade displays to keep the kids entertained. Browse the stalls including plants, ‘Good as New’ clothes, toys, books, bric-a-brac, country produce and cakes.

 

This year’s fete also introduces new events. The Dog Show will have classes that include Best Puppy, Best Dog led by a child, Best Rescue dog, Best fancy-dressed dog and/or Owner, Dog Agility course and overall Supreme Champion. Wicklow Fete are delighted to have the WSPCA Sharpeshill on board to judge the show.

The Touch rugby event will see teams from Wicklow Rugby club display their skill as they battle for the honour of Fete Champions. Players are welcome to join teams on the day.
