The Easter General Vestry in Wicklow will be held on Sunday 5 May, during the 9.30am service. This is the AGM of the parish. We will hear updates on what has been going on in the life of the parish over the past year & consider what might lie ahead for us. The parish accounts will be presented & members appointed to serve on the Select Vestry, who will oversee the running of the parish for the next year.
This year we have a few people stepping down from the Vestry, so we are looking for a few new additions. Please let me know if you would like to serve – even if you can’t be there on Sunday.
Please make a special effort to be there on Sunday. No-one will be pressured into taking on a role unless they want to, so attendance will not result in you getting a job you don’t want!
If you would like to see the accounts in advance, please let me know. If you have any comments or suggestions to raise, please do so on Sunday – or send to me in advance if you can’t be there.
Please also keep praying for the parish & for God’s guidance as we seek to serve both God and the community in which we live.
